lol, well you didnt say most reasonable priced, you said best! Wondering where you can get the Patriot Viper for 1800mhz for that much, considering i was looking at getting the G.skill 1600 stuff from here, which is just over 170.
Edit: Found it but the timings are 8-8-8-24 and the G.skill is 7-7-7-18 and im running at about 1700, recon the patriot would run at tighter timings at that speed?

Yea it suck ocuk dont sell them! asus dont officially support ocz no, but iv had my reaper ram in two different boards and both havnt had issues guess im just a lucky one
Well if you want the absolute best, then you have to pay the premium, Intel Extreme CPU's are the perfect examplebut I couldnt justify over £100 on 150 or so mhz.

Forget trying to get 2000mhz on 3 or 4 series Intel chipsets. For that you will need 790i as posted above.
The Patriot Ram is indeed very nice and ran perfectly as advertised but you will need an Nvidia chipset to get the most out of it.

Yeah i know but as far as i can see its only available in america!
I suppose ddr3 dual channel isnt really a very popular product (now triple channel ddr3, and people cant justify the extra from ddr2 to ddr3 on dual channel boards), so they wont really be too bothered about it now! Just keep a few varities in stock.

Ya DDR3 with Core 2 was only really a luxury, but its cheaper now and I got a cheap 790i so I thought 'why not?'
Americans get awesome prices to what we get, so an i7 system over there is probably half what it is here, when you consider VAT on all the seperate bits etc.

I never tried on P45 m8, but some of my fellow reporters said they topped out at around 15-1600.
