Which defragmentation software do you use?

O&O Defrag. I've remained faithful to the software for years now. However since Vista imo it has gone downhill on the robustness and UI front.

I can't produce benchmarks, but I do know for a fact that, after installing a game, it loads quicker after I've defragged. Windows also tends to loads a little bit quicker, but the most noticeable improvement is always in game load times, in my experience.

Without timing it, how do you know it isn't the placebo effect? ;)

PerfectDisk here - set to run on screensaver, although Defraggler seems to get a lot of peoples vote these days, might give it a go.

Does defraggler do screensaver defragging? Just looked at some screenshots and it looks like it's just a simple manual defragger?

I've used Perfect Disk in the past, because the way it works sounds clever and like it will make a noticeable difference - but it never did so now I don't bother with any. If anyone can produce independent benchmarks which show any improvement in Windows or application loading times after using one of these programs I'll be surprised.
I use perfect disk (2008) because its the only one that actually seems to make an imporvement, all the others seem to make it worse

Using Ultimate Defrag

Seems ok with different options

Used all other main ones at some point in time though
