Which Drive ?

Hi,

I have 2 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB SATA-II 32MB.

One of them i'm using as my OS windows7. the other is just for storage + backups.

So i'm after a new hardrive just for my games.
what would you recommend out of these 2 ?

the only two drives bought these days are either F3's or an SSD and for good reason(and the odd green drive)

I'm in the same boat right now. Looking at the 640gb Caviar 6401AALS Black and the 500gb F3.

One thing that worries me is that the Caviar is performing nearly identically to the F3 in real world benchmarks (eg. Crysis level load time) and that's the 1TB drive that is being reviewed. The 500GB only has 16MB cache, wheras the Caviar has 32MB.

I'm planning to RAID1 them.
