Which earphones? Sony EX71, Sennheiser CX300 or Creative EP-630?

hey guys, just wanna get a review from you all.

I'm currently using the Sony EX71 and wondering whether the Sennheiser CX300 or the Creative EP-630 would be an upgrade?

pls give some comments. thanks

The Creatives will be much better than the sonys! But Id prob save a bit and get some better canalphones...

Sony EX71 to Creatives is like going from a 2.5Gig CPU to a 3Gig one.

Id get a pair of Sony EX90's or something Westone or Shure.

The CX300s and the EP-630s are almost the exact same, I think the Sennheisers might use slightly better drivers but I'm not sure. I went from the EX-71s the the CX300s and there was a big difference. It's definitely worth doing IMO

the cx-300's and ep630's are a good improvement on the ex71's. its a shame you dont have the budget for the ex90's because they trash them all.

cheapest ive seen them is £53 inc vat. i love them, so much more composed, warmer midrange, much much better top and and the bass is tight and controlled yet they still drop to silly levels. well worth the price tag and you wont find anybody saying otherwise tbh

Once modded (very easy and non damaging) the EX90's sound like headphones costing £120-150

I have a set of creatives virtually new and they are pretty good, i prefered my EX71's tho which i lost, i may sell the creatives and get some sony's again.

well when it comes to the ex90's, nope. they cant really be touched at that price point. haven't been since they were released

My understanding was that the SL's were on sale in Asia, and the LP's on sale in USA/UK etc.

I went from EX71's to CX300 and I didnt like the change at first (used to the BASS of the EX71's) After using them for a month now I am very happy with them and there only £14 incl PP if you look

I see ex90 for not very much, clones I suppose? Im not sure I'd know the difference lol
Think I will just order my free pair of ex71, too much bass probably suits my tastes tbh
