Use to use the CX300... great phones, especially for bass heads - tho it tends to be abit more muddy, didn't realise that till I got myself a Mylar XB... now these are the next step up the CX300 route.

the ex90's are an easy match for the e2c's. i prefer the 90's, more of everything. better bass, better midrange ect. what they loose out on, is the isolation, they arent so hot on that. but if that doesnt bother you, then id recommend them over the e2c's.

however, since this thread is nearly a year old (lol), id actually recommend the ex85's instead. very very close to the ex90's, but a lot cheaper - can be had around 30-35 quid

E2Cs are poor anyway, and I think the Mylarone X3i's well an truly "touch" them (the ex90s) but they have terrible QC
