Which fan controller and why?

If I decided to get a fan controller, which one should I get out of these and why?

Any of the lamptron controllers, high watt per channel means it won't burst into flames when you put 3 or more fans on a single channel.

The 7/10w controllers are aimed at single/dual fan per channel. In contrast I think the lowest lamptron is around 30w/channel.

I'm no expert of fan controllers, i'm looking at this one at the min, it seems to get decent reviews.

Could this one run a pump? Ek dcp 18w 12v

If so then it's definatly worth an upgrade

The Scythe Master can only do 12w per channel. Most fan controllers are in the same range. If you want to control a pump then go for a Lamptron as above.

I will only be controlling one fan per channel so the Zalman I picked should be okay

Lamptron ftw. I have Bitfenix Recon, I like it a lot because it look's cool and I can change my fan speeds without moving. Also, it has no knobs which was good in my old case that had a door.
