Davey_Pitch said:You're simply a character in the world. You've given a main quest, which you can choose to follow completely, or you can just wander around from place to place, meeting people, exploring and looking for dungeons and treasure, taking side quests from people, guilds and other places. You can almost do whatever you want to do, it's the open-endedness of the game that's so appealing for many people.
Edit: You might want to look on IGN.com at some of the ingame movies, it should give you some more ideas about the game.

i think i played the genre once on the old xbox. some well over hyped game that i cant even remember the name of.
Davey_Pitch said:Morrowind? If so, this is the sequel to that game, but it looks like it's been improved on in every way (and if you've never really played the genre before, it's worth giving it some time before you dismiss it)![]()
Never played fable but I heard it was quite short and small. I can assure you Oblivion is much bigger and will have more going on in the game.movingtables said:ah got my memory back lol. the game i ment was "fable". geez that game was pants. my opinion of course.
