Which fluid ?

i started with distilled water and silver coil. i changed and tried other stuff/coloures ect. i went back to distilled water. i don't care what the makers state. your tubing will get dyed whatever colour you use.and your waterblocks ect

Perfectly possible to use distilled water and add the stuff to stop it growing algae and the stuff to stop it corroding your blocks. Much cheaper and works well. If you're a beginner and you just want something you can open and pour in, I'll second Razor Time's recommendation of XSPC EC6. I've also been using it since it was Thermochill and never had a problem. Non-conducting (for as long as any of these things are), non-toxic and you can safely pour it down the drain when necessary. If you get it in colourless - and you should - it won't stain your carpet when it escapes...and it will, it's inevitable!!

http://support.mayhems.net/

Mayhems support site will be built on FAQ and support tickets. These is no sales patter and simple yet effective responses from several different staff whom we have all been taken on.

All the staff are knowledgeable in the subject of liquid cooling and have direct access to Me (mick).

I have stepped down from direct support to concentrate on work and development and figuring out issues. To put this as simple as possible I had way to much work load to deal with being development, support, web site maintenance and upgrades, 24/7 telephone support (world wide), manufacturing, problem solving, shipping, dealing with suppliers and distribution issues, chemical paper work safety data information the list goes on which was to much for one person to take on alone.

All this coupled with the fact my daughter whom is autistic was taken into care just before Christmas because her violent out bust's simply ripped apart mine and my partners life and the pressure built up and the brick wall came down. But life still goes on ..

On wards and upwards. How ever even given all of that the out burst was still inexcusable :(.

Another example of great Mayhems CS: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18693933

Fluid separated due to horrible PH yet Mayhems supplied the kit to clean his loop and replaced the ruined fluid for free.

Would like to point out that this was not caused to a PH Balance, but a suspected reaction with my aluminium radiator.

Was a balls-ache at first, numerous cleans of the blocks and fittings and new pipe installs.

Though I wasn't overly impressed with the PH reasoning at first Mike had helped me throughout with replacement coolants, (more pastel, and then his water + dyes), pro cleaning kits, replacement pipe (rebuilt like 4-5 times!) - Hell, he even tried to send me a replacement radiator.

He went above and beyond for me.

His responses have sometimes be perceived as blunt on the boards, but in reality - hes a cracking chap and his advice is concise.

OK - Thanks for the clarification. Actions speak louder than words and it is clear that Mick is a man of action.

Tbh, I totally get where Mick is coming from.

Not saying who's right and who's wrong, but when a scientist who knows his stuff being accused of his product by someone who thinks he knows a lot but actually does not, is very irritating.

Some say Jayz is being neutral, but if you listen carefully throughout his vlog, he is nowhere near neutral and being a youtube reviewer, that is being unprofessional either.

I would always recommend Mayhems. My experience of Mayhems is they're very helpful with problems and willing to offer advice (which in this case, J2C has admitted he ignored) on proper preparation, which will prevent problems like his ever occurring. And they offer replacements for people experiencing (very rare) issues.

TBH that's even more impressive than I originally thought.

Exactly my point, he is a legend.

Sure, you raise a concern, standard protocols are followed, check your ph, clean your rads etc. this probably resolves most issues - (providing the customer is willing to actually try these things)

Mine wast, mine was more intricate and he bent over backwards to help. the amount of support that i received for a £10 bottle of coolant is highly commendable. His heart and Soul is in his products.
