Which game do you think you ever mastered the most?

Pro Evolution Soccer 4/ Winning Eleven 8 International. Was good at this for a time was in the top 3 for a few months on the UK Ladder.

Its amazing how many people rate themselves on a console game even though "good" or "amazing" is only good or amazing within your circle of friends, odds are its not as amazing as expected ;)

Personally i played CS to a very high standard, briefly competing at the level of 4K/ui/etc at the time. Natural Selection is a HL mod that i pretty much decimated all at, trying not to sound too egocentric but for a long long time there was nothing that could beat my team and I.... globally.

Next aim though, after spending a couple of years playing mmo's is quake wars, aiming to be at the top of the uk at least :)

i used to spend all of my days on Counterstrike source, awp maps perfecting my scout usage, i managed to get pretty good untill warcraft dominated my life :<

bf 2142 i love this game titan mode only and i like to think im pretty ******* good

edit: thinking about it i was probably better at super mario on the original game boy in 1990 then in 2000 ish i mastered dave mirra pro bmx on ps2 and ssx tricky

god them were the days when i lived with my student mate worked 3 days a week (if they were lucky) smoked major weed and played ssx and dave mirra :D

MoH Spearhead MP, got top rifle award on a particular busy server as i had killed 400 odd people and only died 29 times - was addicted to this!

Could just jump out of buildings and just pop a few people in the head on the way down ;)

which server was that mate ?
i used to be one of the last folk you would want to run into in spearhead,i topped a few bash charts in my day too :)

I'm sorry I must have mistaken the title of the thread I didn't know it read Which game do you think you're the best in the world at

Probably be BF2 sniper on the Japanese island level they took from 1942 (Wake or was that Iwo Jima - can't remember).

Shot someone from the other side of the island when all I could see was their silouette as they were running.

Also took out a Jet with a sniper rifle (repeated shots) as it flew high round.

I remember I was also good at taking out flying planes with self propelled artillery too.

Not bad as the bullets drop on distance and the takes time to get to it's target - unlike BF2142..

I spent about 4 years playing nothing on my PC except for Grand Prix Legends. Got fairly decent, raced in the UKGPL league. Was semi-close (within 1 to 1.5 seconds) to the world record times at a fair few tracks. Them were the days!

There's more shell drop with tanks in 2142 than in BF2

Also, I managed to take out a gunship in BF2 from half way across the map on Oman as it was flying across my field of view. I was sitting in the rock fortification control point and the chopper was flying over the warehouse on the other side of the orchard to the left. I just thought I'd take a pot shot at it, and *bang*, got him and his copilot :p

Yeah in the early/mid 90s I reckoned I was extremely good at NHLPA hockey (basically due to sussing out multiple highly reliable ways of beating the keeper), Sensible Soccer and Street Fighter Alpha 2. But in reality compared to real pros in say national tournaments I probably wouldn't have fared that well. At least with online games you have more a benchmark to compare yourself against.
