Which game do you think you ever mastered the most?

Its amazing how many people rate themselves on a console game even though "good" or "amazing" is only good or amazing within your circle of friends, odds are its not as amazing as expected ;)
I only rate myself on games that are online. Come on, 600+ wins to 13 losses online in ranked matches ain't bad ;)

stop playing against noobs then :p
I play against the best competition available to me :(

For a few months after MKDS was launched I was in the top 5-6 in most of the time trials :p

Then I stopped playing :(

Hmm, would probably say CS 1.6 back when I used to play, was pretty good back then. Other than that probably only playing a Priest on WoW.... if that can be considered to require skill as some people believe WoW doesn't take abit of skill.

Edit: Reading back brought a few from a long while back, so Tony Hawk 2 this would 100% be my choice.

Midgard:Excaliber (Chronictank (Berserker), Chronicpain (shaman), Sirrus (Hunter), Darkcaster (runemaster), Goldplated (Spiritmaster) were my main toys but i did play for a while towards the end on borrowed accounts Debbs (Healer), Natal (Hunter) and Hellsraiser (BD)

I also had a spell Albion on Prywden before they nerfed the smite line on KillerCleric and Chronictap (Sorc)

I got bored of characters fairly quickly so most of them are rr5/6, highest being 8

I dabbled with hib but nothing major just a few alts on Camlann and Avalon

As for wow, i didnt really play it much as the PvP bored me :) Chronicpain/Warlock

Nice :) I played Hib/Prydwen mostly, had a go on Camlann, Excal and the US server Andred too though.

My main chars were Jarakin (RR10 Eldritch), Mrmotivator (RR8 bard), Jetrel (RR7 Blademaster) and Jarakeen (RR5 Nightshade) had a couple other 50 chars, ranger, druid etc. but didnt really play them. I gave Mrmotivator to a guildie who was our main guildgroup bard, while i concentrated on my eld and blademaster.

On excal a few of us from pryd came over to midgard to muck around and made a guild called Grrr Arrrg, we got powerlevelled by a few friends from Nolby and Jack Herer (who came over to play on prydwen for a while).

Yeah WoW pvp sucks, which is why i've quit too. Was just playing to mess around with mates really, just got deathly bored and now i'm playing Lotro casually until WAR comes out. I'm happy playing PvE in a new game until my bloodthirst can be quenched by a good PvP/RvR game. :)

Probably counter-strike, back in the good ol' days, as bh were pretty big on the uk scene and I was damned good with the old awp.

Awesome at any fps though (ya rly! :p), and I am unbeatable at Rise of Nations.

Sad thing about rise of nations is I know the cost of every unit, building, resource gain, upgrade, etc.

any game really, talking online playing if i put a few days into any game i move to probo mid upper part of the scoring, a week and i'll win sometimes against good competition and 2weeks onwards i'm pretty sweet on any game.

only using hlxstats but on cs:s i basically played on the 5th ranked server, highest by far uk server and in 2-3 weeks i was one of the better players and after a month or so i was top ranked on the server, 2nd ranked in uk and about 45th in the world i think. i've since then not played for the last couple weeks, semi joined a clan, good guys but partially to see if they were cheating. turns out most of them ghost, not always, but often enough to make playing on the server seem pointless. top ranked on server when quite a few of the other "top" players were ghosting doesn't seem bad. i don't really know how effective hlxstats is tbh, i'd pretty much played old CS years and years ago, literally twice. never got into cs:s source when it was out, again played for probo a total of a few days in the last couple years. i never really played any games for long periods, always got bored. really should join a proper clan and play at the next level for some game.

mario kart on the snes, i was a freaking demon on that. so long i've forgotten what the track was, but the one that was just a square shape, with the L shaped bits that just marked out 3 smaller squares. that map was the best thing ever made.

I think I would have to say it was Sensible Soccer on the Amiga all those years ago! I used to spend so many hours on that game!

I can't wait for the 360 version to come out next month!

Honorable mention goes to Street Fighter II Turbo on the SNES!

:)

I know youre a good SC player anyway, i kinda wish i'd stuck it out myself aswell but i think i was too young to the online scene when i started playing it too keep interest. At that point i was playing Delta Force which i found much more enjoyable and it started me on my awesome fps path :D

Battlefield Vietnam. I was lethal with an AK47, knew the maps and their respective tactics inside out, and I was rather good at mowing people down in jeeps too ;) . I couldn't circle strafe in the choppers though, so I was never ever gonna be truly hardcore.

I always played on two particular servers (EA-UK 2 & 8) and got to know most of the regulars. Forty players, classic tunes, shoddy network code and lag beyond your wildest imagination. It was fun while it lasted.

Sadly, it's still the only online game I've ever really enjoyed playing. :(

For me it was Unreal Tournament.

I used to play it for hours and hours everyday, any free time i had from work/college i would be playing it.

I think my average 'Frags Per Hour' were around 1400-1500, about a kill every 2-5 seconds.

well clearly pro at championship manager, won every cup every season..as liverpool, no cheating.lol

cs i suppose i was pretty good like 3 years back, won enemydown premiership, and was in div2 of csgn which is prob the best league.

mario party 5?possibly4? on the n64. Willflower button bashing game, i could complete it in 6.9seconds, which as far as i can see on the web is pretty damn close to world record, and was nearly 2 seconds faster thn any of my mates

altho the game i prob mastered the most has to be guildwars. was in a guild that maintained number1 position on the world ladder for a couple of weeks back when gw was actually competitive, not like todays sorry state. was amongst the first hundred or so players to achieve rank9 in hall of heroes, was voted as 3rd best monk in the game by a pvp forum couple years ago.

None, every game I ever got competitive about and tried to get good at (Quake 2, BF1942, Q3A, RA3, Guild Wars, Dawn of War, Tekken, probably more), I got to a certain "decent" level fairly easily but found I could never break out into being good. Pretty annoying when you find the people you use to beat have surpassed you and are now handing you your behind on a platter!:D

I was getting reasonably good at F.E.A.R., it was pretty well-suited for me because it's a slow game as FPSs go so doesn't need fast twitch reactions. Very well-suited for old farts like me whose reaction times have dropped because it lets me use everything I've learned from years of playing other FPSs without being handicapped by my age and slow speed. Then I got frustrated by it and quit because there were legions of cheaters and loads of bunnyhopping drop-kick kung-fu kiddies ruining every server.

Possibly the only gaming achievement I can be proud of is scoring 978,800 on Spheres of Chaos! Even so, when my cousin saw it he burned the midnight oil and eventually managed 1,066,500 just to spite me! :p

PS. Hey Elitetrick, out of curiosity, who are you in GW?

The original championship manager on the amiga 600. 3-2-5 formation with Don Hutchinson and Gary Mcallister in midfield = win everytime

On the pc it would have to be command and conquer red alert!
