Which game would you defend to the death?

Knights of the Old Republic 2. Like VTM Bloodlines, a buggy (on release) title with obvious signs of being rushed with such a short development cycle. If you looked past the flaws and used one or two fan patches the game was exemplary.

I never did get into the second one, maybe i should consider playing it through now since i have some spare time. The first one was an outstanding game.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines is another game i probably should have played years ago, might pick it up for cheap if i can.

The 2 titles i wouldnt defend to the death would be deus ex and mass effect. If were talking about consoles aswell, add ico to the list, that is a magical game.

Thought Bioshock was a poor mans Fallout 3. Good but not great.

I dont think i could defend any game to the death. People dont have the same tastes and some genres just dont do it for some people.

If i had to choose i would probably say Transport Tycoon.

Tribes 2

Planetide

Natrural Selection

All these games are brilliant, a nice combination of FPS and stratergy.

I love the intense action of FPS games and slow paced RTS and even turn based stratergy games but these 3 have both and have redefined/corssed or even created genres/subgenres.

They can be enjoyed solo as well as with friends, ontop of that are just very immersive and are great games.

Command and Conquer: Renegade

The single player was a pretty shoddy, but the multiplayer was brilliant and mostly overlooked by a lot of people.

Some of the highlights that still make me want to play the game...
- Taking out Nod Engineers from the insides of an Orca never got boring.
- Or as an Engineer, hearing the "boink" noise as one your carefully placed cluster of explosives takes out a few people.
- Stealth Tanks!!!
