Which game would you defend to the death?

Anyone remember a game called Anachronox. Got slated a fair bit but was an absolute gem of a game, i absolutely loved it.

:D

I bought this few years ago was over shadowed by Deus Ex at the time fantastic game but has speed issues with modern pc but can be sorted, recommend this to all.

Resident Evil 4.

It IS the single best game in creation, universally praised on release, it is a flawless example of video gaming perfection.

If you dissagree you are wrong, end of story, there is no debate to be had.

I hated that game and resident evil 5, Resi 1,2 and 3 were the greatest survival horror games for me. Also Resi zero was ok aswell as code veronica and the GameCube remake. But resident 4 and 5 to me were utter crap

Omg half life one was awesome, think i upgraded froma tnt 2 to a voodoo 3 :)
the light effects were just awesome, whats up in that vent??:)

hmm cannon fodder 2 i do defend that and TFX on ibm 486, twas awesome!

Cannon fodder! What a game i had completely forgotten about that game, i remember playing it as a kid.The theme tune was absolute beast!

TF2

Mostly because people have massive misconceptions about the item drop system and such.

Tf2 was raped by Valve, I used to love that game :(

I would defend Arma: Combined Operations to the death.

When Arma 2 came out it was buggy and we didn't have the hardware to run it, now loads of patches have came out and it has made it an ace game, also the mod community has had enought time to make some quality units, islands and sound modifications.

It has a suberb mission editor where you are only limited by server fps and your imagination.

If you sick of the borderm of the Call of Duty, Battlefield and Counter-Strike world and are looking for something more realistic, essentialy a military simulator I satrongly suggest you coming along and put an application in over at http://havoc-company.com

I would defend the original Crysis. People moaned about it not being 'Real open world', and that their rigs couldn't max the game out, but it was and still is the only game of it's kind imo.

I always defend TF2. I somewhat agree that valve has made bad decisions with the game, but at the end of the day if you play on good 24 player servers with little plug-ins and no insta-spawn the game is still as good as it was before. All the gameplay is still there and if people don't like the trading/hat/store side of things, just ignore it. There is no reason to actually buy anything on the store other than you want items/weapons/hats and are impatient (in the weapons case, you can always earn it through an achievement, or if that isn't the case then you can craft it). I've got a few good servers Favourited where there are almost always players.

RTCW multiplayer.

Nothing has come close to it. (some MOD team really needs to update this with fancy graphics)
