For anyone with the 555's - can you confirm whether they do offer some form of surround sound functionality. I'm thinking here in terms of being able to locate the direction of footsteps in CSS...

Just got my Sennheiser PC160SK Version these bad boys rock. never going back to plantronics there soo nasty and cheapo feeling compared to these.
my other plantronics broke after 6 months took them apart and you find some nasty cheap cabling.

I have mine plugged into an XFi Xtreme with all the toys on full so in that respect yes I do get full surroundsound in CSS!

well i have hd202's, not great but decent set of headphones, and i can tell the direction of anyone near me on cod2, the direction is more down to your soundcard than your headphones tbh.
