Which Gaming Headphones?

For anyone with the 555's - can you confirm whether they do offer some form of surround sound functionality. I'm thinking here in terms of being able to locate the direction of footsteps in CSS...:)
 
Just got my Sennheiser PC160SK Version these bad boys rock. never going back to plantronics there soo nasty and cheapo feeling compared to these.

my other plantronics broke after 6 months took them apart and you find some nasty cheap cabling.

I have mine plugged into an XFi Xtreme with all the toys on full so in that respect yes I do get full surroundsound in CSS!
 
well i have hd202's, not great but decent set of headphones, and i can tell the direction of anyone near me on cod2, the direction is more down to your soundcard than your headphones tbh.
