Which headphone ?

25 us dollars. Brand new and boxed here in the usa at a major music high street store. Quite a few left grado sr60's and some sr80's. I bought a set last night. Will go buy more tomorrow. At that price i was stunned. They were marked at 95 dollars. Now reduced in a sale. PM me if interested ;)
I'd also like a pair of SR80's if there are any left. :) I've yet to try open headphones... I'm still using senn HD25 as my gaming headphones - they are very bassy I find.

EDIT: added ya to MSN :)

I bought some Sen HD650s and they are ohhhhh soooooo gooooood ;)

best headphones i have ever owned so far lol
you wont go far wrong with these i tell ya.

Also wanted to say there's a 50 ohm version of the HD595s available so they would be just fine without amplification. Not that I'm exactly mad on the Sennheiser sound myself. For gaming I would go for something with more bass.

I hadn't realise there was more than one type of HD595. I'm waiting on a set labelled as 150ohm. Thought it was a typo on the website so ordered anyway. Have I done wrong?

I've loooooooooooooooove a pair of these but they ain't cheap.

I'm guessing they need and amp to get the best out of them?

HD 650 are cheap IMO @ £170 for top of the range Sennheiser (except Orheus) A headphone amp is a must for those phones. Bit worried about the prong connection though, seen to go intermettiant after a while I wonder if Sennheiser have fixed it.

Thinking about getting a pair later on to go with my Grado RS-1..Senn for softer presentation.

You need to put a lot of money into the Senns for them to REALLY shine.

I'm talking about cables that cost more than the headphones itself, a balanced high quality DAC + balanced amp helps a lot.

Does anyone have a recommended Headphone amp for my Sen HD650s ? that works awsomely with the 7.1 XFI Prelude i just bought ??????

im really hopeing this prelude sounds better than the Fatality i have lol
