The Aerocool PSU you've listed is not a good option, they do release the odd half decent PSU but their super budget units are never among them. Even their "good" PSU's which are few and far between are outclassed by similarly priced options from multiple other suppliers, generally speaking within the PSU market they're best avoided.

If opting for a super budget PSU the MSI A-BN range isn't bad shout, and some of the beQuiet! range (but not all) is too.

Much better PSU for not a lot more money.

At this end of the market I'm not sure it really matters, it's not getting driven hard with that system.

It does when you can buy substantially better for a few quid more, a bad PSU can potentially kill components and unfortunately that remains true to this day.

Power supplies have come a long way in regards to protections designed around keeping the rest of your hardware safe, but some companies flat out lie about those things being in place or functioning as they should. That doesn't mean all do and there are some legitimately good budget PSU's out there, such as the aforementioned MSI model.

Cheap doesn't necessarily need to be plap.

A decent PSU is a must. I thought Corsair was solid but maybe not then?
 
PC parts buying is always a story of oh just a little bit more and...... that's how I end up spending thousands despite starting with modest intentions :D
