Which internet browser do you use?

...as I was saying before the Windows Update restart prompt popped up just as I pressed enter:

I tend to switch between Chrome and Firefox. I sync their bookmarks using xmarks and the setup is pretty much the same. I really like the speed of Chrome (starting up speed especially), but love the "open sourceness" and add-ons in Firefox.

I've been using Chrome a lot recently, but I miss some of my add-ons!
Iron is open source, it's pretty much the best of both worlds. :)

IE9 does that, I've just tried it. :)

IE9 only does it if you drag-and-drop it onto the tab bar - maxthon does it by just dragging away from the link... just a few pixels it's so convenient it's brilliant

>edit<
Plus it doesn't activate the new tab when doing that... so for example when I load up this forum, I can scroll down the main page and drag off the forums I want to read in a matter of seconds and I don't have to keep clicking back onto the main forum page...

Hard to explain exactly, but I would recommend it to people :)

IE8 until IE9 is RTW.

Even though the beta is pretty much flawless, I don't like updating to beta software anymore. I like to keep all my PC's on the same software/driver versions.

that said, IE8 is still rock solid. My only fault with it is the fullscreen mode hides the taskbar :(

Ah right, what about if you just right-click the link and open in a new tab? Maybe that isn't as quick as just dragging a link a few pixels mind, but it does the same thing.

I don't have a use the facility myself, just playing about with the different things to see what he crack is. :)

Yeah that would work... But I've been dragging links like that since MyIE2 switched and became Maxthon 1.0 in 2004 so using anything that doesn't have that feature just feels wierd lol

Just installed the new Maxthon 3 and it's really good!!

Use to be Firefox for years but last 3 months have gone back to speedy Opera,Opera 11 is great especially now it has extensions.

I've been using Opera for several years and have been growingly disappointed with how the latest versions perform on my ageing socket 939 setup. Over the last few days I've been making the transition to Firefox and finding the add-ons that make the browsing experience similar or even better than Opera's. I'm still getting to know Firefox and adjusting to the change but it's a good sign that it's been about a week and i've not given up yet.

I ahve been using Opera myself since 9 and love it. I also use Chrome on the side if I need another quick window open.

Saying that, IE9 is actually really good.

I have IE9, Opera 11, Safari 5, Chrome 9 and Firefox 4 installed on my system for testing and use them each occasionally.

I also use IETester for backwards compatibility testing in IE versions.

Does middle clicking a link not do this for you?
