Which internet browser do you use?

Using Firefox. I don't like the UI layout of IE8+ and its lack of customization or chrome with tabs on the title bar.

Chrome - It's simply awesome. I was a Safari user previously but made the jump recently. Can't see past Chrome now tbh.

Been using the latest opera beta lately. Its remarkable the sheer volume of functions it has. Awesome tabbed browsing experience, mail client, irc client, torrent downloads all in one nicely packaged app. Great stuff.

Opera here, Im not a browser fanboi and the way I see it - if it works for you thats all that matters :)

Having said that - I have played around with other browsers like FF & Chrome. Both are impressive but I have to say I only had one gripe with Firefox before I uninstalled it:

Why is it the only browser that needs to restart each time you install an extension? Chrome & Opera do it "live"..you install it and it just works right there.

Ok not the end of the world if you have to restart FF I was just wondering why this is!

Firefox user here but I would like to switch to chrome but they need to change some things before I do.

1. full noscript support
2. favourites/bookmark menu on main window
3. separate search bar like other browsers

Only 3 small things but they are very annoying ones

You guys that are running the beta/dev of Chrome - How is that shaping up compared to the vanilla 8.0.552.224 build?. Anything new in it?.

Just realised I've been given more invites for RockMelt. If anyone wants one to give it a try, give me a shout via trust and I'll email you an invite :)

That looks interesting but the video on the website didn't really go into the browser in any depth. It made it look like a browser that was geared up towards social networking and that was about it.

What else does it do?. Bring anything new to the party other than the social networking aspect?.

Yeah it is basically Chrome with social networking integrated at the core. When you initially load it you log into your Facebook account. As far as I'm aware it will load different user profiles for different Facebook logins, so individual bookmarks and plugins etc although I haven't tried that aspect. Apart from that you also get RSS feeds/app bar on the right hand side that pop out into a separate box, and it finds RSS feeds on pages you visit the most and will recommend them to you.

You can also add Twitter and it will post up notifications from your system tray (like TweetDeck does) from both Facebook and Twitter accounts. Apart from that there isn't much else to say about it really. I use it though as the social integration is very useful and being Chrome you can still use any plugin from it (and they'll appear alongside the feeds/app bar on the right).

I'll send you an invite in trust now :)

Gah, looks like the only way to invite is via a message to a person on your facebook :( I'll tweet them and see if there is a way around it.

I use a mixture of them all, I don't think many people use Just 1 browser.

My default is always IE8, does everything I need it to do.
Firefox - I don't know, I just don't like it, but I have it.
Chrome - Where on earth are your fravorites located at? It's really fast though.
Opera - I really like this browser (Productivity), although for me, it's slower than IE8
Safari - Never Bothered, It's apple.
