Which is faster?

I was going to get a velociraptor, but was told that they are only marginally faster than an F3 drive. However, I'd like a 2tb drive.

Would this:

be as fast as the sammy f3 (the7200rpm version)?

I think the WD Greens have variable speed, as they are eco drives. I think the Sammy F3 is faster. What you going to be using it for mate? Just storage? Or running games?

Both to be honest. I'm going to putting all my games on there, and a LOT of music.

I'm not sure to be honest, I might get the f3 and another 1tb drive

EDIT: The WD's are 7200rpm right? It doesn't say on ocuk :\

The greens are variable speed: Spin Speed: IntelliPower. So it changes. The Blacks are constant 7200rpm.

I would maybe get the 7200rpm drive for your games. And maybe stick music on a huge 2TB green drive?

To be honest, I think 1tb would be enough. I'll get the F3 and then if I need more space, I'll get another hd

Not a bad plan mate

I'm going to be using my old Black for my games, but might get a Green for movies (don't really need a fast drive for those).
