This may seem a silly question and I most likely, already know the answer but which of the following would be best for performance?
2x Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache RAID0
or
2x WD Caviar SE16 500GB 16MB SATA-II Raid0
The reason I ask is that the WD has a higher RPM compared to the Seagate but as you can see the Seagate has a higher Cache.. Also, windows performance index gives the 2x WD Drives a higher score :s
I would say the Seagate drives would offer better performance.....
Many thanks in advance,
Shane
