Which old games are still fun to play now?

I miss mid-market flight sims like that... not full sims, but not arcade games.

DCS Flaming Cliffs aka DCS FC2024 is exactly that https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/planes/flaming_cliffs_2024/
You get the "turn the plane on with 2 button presses" mid-sim level of complexity, but full also fidelity flight physics. DCS is known for its study sim level modules, but FC is their (somewhat) hidden and undermarketed gem.

I'm currently going through Hidden and Dangerous 2 for the 3rd time. I just simply love it. My fave game of all time, despite all it's flaws.

Cannot believe I never give this a go just bought for 4 squid.
