Onkyo speakers complete the package with a sensational sound experience.

Once again it will be in a main room, which is normally lit and therefor its rare movies are watched in complete darkness but it does happen from time to time. People watching the screen will no be watching it from dead on but from all angles which is where an LCD could be a weakness.
Again it will be used for the integrated freeview, Xbox360 via component and an HD-DVD player will be purchased for the Xbox360 too. Plus there will be a normal DVD player and VHS connected by SCART I believe. Speakers on the TV will only be used for Freeview television wheras proper 5.1 surround system is in place for movies.
So out of those two which would you buy for best picture quality in freeview, DVD's and HD-DVD's along with using the Xbox360 on too?
I am favouring the 42" Plasma at the moment because its bigger
and will cost me approx £200 less. Plus I believe the plasmas don't suffer from poor viewing angles either and give better picture?
