Which shooty game has the best campaign

Out of this lot:

BFBC2
BF3
BF4
Crysis 2
Crysis 3
HL2

I'm looking for something short to power through this weekend until until my second job starts on the 11th

HL2 by far, Battlefields single player is generally awful. Crysis are decent.

Far Cry 3/4 and Just Cause 2

I've got singularity but I completed it a while ago. I've also got BL and BL2 but that's probably not something I can complete in 10h or so!

If you want a decent story that doesn't take long to finish look at Bulletstorm.

Out of those specific ones you mention, the ones I've played - I'd say (best to worse):

HL2 (get the cinematic mod though!)
Crysis 2*
BF3
Crysis 3*
BF4

*I actually rate the original Crysis and then Crysis Warhead way better than 2 or 3.

Bfbc2 is worth a quick play through, bf3 is ok although nothing special and bf4 is just awful for campaign.

Tbh i think in terms of having a decent length campaign borderlands series has to be the best shooter ive played recently for that sort of thing

HF2 and Crysis 3 out of your list but the best single player linear FPS by far in recent years is Shadow Warrior followed by Wolfenstein The New Blood & Old Blood.

Very true, Shadow Warrior is brilliant as are the Wolfenstein games

BFBC2 is my favorite singleplayer FPS game. Agree BF4 single player is really bad.
