Which SSD?

Is there really a difference between the Samsung laptop kit vs the desktop one?

Or is it just price?

The desktop kit includes a sata cable and 2.5"/3.5" mounting bracket.

The notebook kit has a sata>USB adapter so you can clone the HDD easily.

If there's more than ~£5 in it, get the cheaper version and buy the bits you need separately.

I'll be going for the notebook one most likely then.

My system has a free 2.5" slot, I have a spare sata 6gb cable as well.
Thanks

I got the notebook kit as I thought a sata>USB adapter might prove useful (it hasn't yet, but it's early days) and I already had a bracket and loads of sata cables.

Plus it was ~£25 cheaper than the desktop kit (!) and ~£5 cheaper than the basic kit (!?).
