They're different tablets. There's the Galaxy Tab line, and the Galaxy Note line.

The note is a lot better, but it's also a lot more expensive. They're not really competing with each other, it all comes down to the price you're wanting to pay really. Personally I'd take the Note over the Ultima, but that's only as I have the budget to do so, if I didn't then the Ultima would win.

The Sam Gal tab 2 10.1 DOES have a HDMI cable. Google it.

It does but it only works with the US version not the UK version which is annoying.
