Which Total War?

Imho:

Rome > Medieval 2 > Shogun 2 > Empire > Rome 2.

I have not played Napoleon, Attila or Warhammer, Medieval 2 exp's, or anything pre Rome. I have played the shogun 2 expansions and all Rome expansions.

Rome > Original game is near perfection, I love the campaign, economy and game mechanics (unit recruitment, settlements, battles, etc). Expansions are fun, Alexander was a bit boring (finished campaign once) and Barb invasion is quite tough but rewarding. Also lovely unit/country variety. Many hundreds of hours in this, I finished at least 10 main campaigns over the years.
Medieval 2 > Near perfection campaign wise, only to much spam with ''special'' characters such as merchants, witches, inquisitors, etcetc takes to much time (I like the idea, but I spend half the game looking at the movement of all this stuff (and yes I know about space to speed em up)). And somehow worse AI than Rome in battle, really the unit placement and pathfinding is abysmal in this game.
Shogun 2 > I do not like the economy and campaign, but arguably, the best battles of the total war series. Assaulting or defending a castle is awesome, and also sea battles are nice. Disadvantage is unit variety.
Empire > Tough to get into, but ultimately very rewarding campaign. Slightly to much emphasis on trade resources (especially the naval ones). Boring unit variety and battles on land. Superb naval battles though!
Rome 2 > I need to give it more time, only played for about 25 hours, not finished a campaign yet, but my problem with this is all the meaningless political nonsense, the lack of nice UI (rubbish unit and building icons/artwork bother me to oblivion), the way you recruit armies, the limitations on the armies (I like more and smaller armies, here you're servery limited by caps on generals/admirals, and armies are all huge, I miss the smaller battles :)). The economy is OK, I slightly prefer it above Empire and Shogun. I love the mixed land/sea battles. I like the unit variety. Oh, and the morale punishment for conquest: booo... Later on it gets repetitive: I'm mid game now and half the stuff I do feels, meaningless... Also the graphics in battle feel, bland, I miss the colorfulness of the original Rome for exaMple.

I don't like the region system, prefer the big city system of Rome/medieval and also prefer the recruitment of Rome.

I never played Warhammer before, noting that I like rome and medieval 2 most, and I mainly play for the campaign (I autocomplete most battles, especially ones where I have above 60% chance to win), is Warhammer total war worth it for me?
