Which TV Series?

I never watched it before but I've been watching Spooks on one of the repeat-tastic satellite channels on Sky... I wasn't expecting much but I'm actually enjoying it.
 
reccommend me a tv show...

hi - i have been watching a lot of movies recently - mainly action/adventure and want to start watching a good tv show that captures my interest

i have spent the past year not watching tv much due to my job so i have missed out on heroes etc

i was wondering if heroes was a good place to start?
 
The Shield is probably the best thing in the world anywhere ever, the greatest thing to be ever created

House is good as well, so is Heroes, so is 24, so is the first season of prison break, but seriously The Shield wow !

I've heard good things about The Wire as well but not round to it yet
 
Check out The Wire and ,as has been said, The Shield.
Heroes may disappoint if you like answers and consistent story lines as championed by Lost
 
I'll suggest The Shield as well. 6 Seasons to enjoy already plus a 7th coming up. It is the best programme ever.

I find programmes like Prison Break and Heroes weak and sometimes painful to watch, but they can be entertaining.
 
Just be prepared for a massive disappointment with Heroes. How many episodes... for that finale?! It promises much, but far too much hype in my humble opinion. That said Christopher Ecclestone was great in his (too) few appearances.
