i've got an i7 and a gtx470.i'm sourcing the parts bit by bit to save some dosh.so for i've got,
Laing Swiftech DDC 1 Plus 18w
XSPC 360 rad
EK-DDC X-RES 140
EK 470 GTX Full Cover VGA Water Block - Nickel Plexi

what cpu block would you recommend for this???cheers

There is very little between the the top performing blocks so go on looks. Personally I'd match your gpu block And get the ek supreme hf nickel plexi or my own favourite and what I used on my build ek supreme hf full nickel.

No point of spending silly money on the cuplex kryos XT when it's only 0.3c difference.

EK Supreme HF (either nickel or copper there is no difference performance wise) or the the EK Supreme FULL Nickel which has a few C over the standard HF, looks very bling aswell.

If funds are tight the LT blocks are also good. To be honest EK have the CPU block range nailed, all of them are fantastic.
