IE8 in protected mode. Does the job and is very stable for me, the only site it crashes on is the Apple site for some reason.
I also have Chrome installed that I use from time to time. I can't say I find it any faster or slower than the other browsers though. For completeness I may as well mention I use FF on Mac.
i have all of them installed, but keep coming back to firefox over and over again. I think 'speed' is is subjective; I think iit comes down to how fast you can perform a task when you're used to the browser. I find I mostly use my keyboard to browse and have become used to it.
Chrome is okay, but I just dont get on with it.
The deal breaker is firefox's find / search (Ctrl + F) un-beatable IMHO which other browsers do it like firefox?
At work it's IE and Firefox. I have to use different Proxy servers for different stuff so two browers is handy (chrome using whichever proxy IE is set to).
So just tried chrome out, and it really is much quicker than FF. Impressed. Will use it whilst I have to use this dongle, but will go back to FF when I have a landline.
