White Noise?

I have a rather annoying problem of always waking up ~ 5:45am, then its on my mind then that "Iv only got an hour or so left to sleep", so i tell myself to go back to sleep which I do, but only in 10 minute intervals. By the time i get up i am really annoyed and ****** off.
 
white noise, fans and such keeps me awake. whereas with nothing i sleep within 10 minutes of getting into bed usually

i swear i love the noise of a fan blowing on my bed. too bad my mum got stressy coz i would have it on all night and ****ing took it away!

really surprised brainwave binaural sound patterns haven't become more popular, they're incredible. software generates presets of binaural sound which sends the brain into different states. i found the sleep preset to work nicely, plus theres a couple of user-submitted presets that may help.

That's really wierd. I don't know if its placebo but it seems to work :confused:
 
I tried the brainwave thing last night, the sleep inducing pattern (general). You subconsciously end up breathing in time to the white noise type sound.

That actually seemed to work really well, but then I got woken up at 4am anyway (see Mouse thread :D)
