Who are the best SSD manufacturers for support/RMA/warranty in case the SSD fails?

I was about to get another Samsung SSD as I had grown to trust Samsung SSD's but since I last bought one (1TB Samsung 870 EVO two years ago) the issues with the Samsung 870's (and others) have come to light.

I require a new SSD for Windows+Steam+Games only so should the SSD fail and lose it's data, it's not a major issue providing I can get the drive easily RMA'd and replaced by the manufacturer.

With this in mind, which SSD manufacturers would you recommend for easy support/RMA/warranty (from the UK) in case the SSD fails?

samsung rma is good, i suppose that is due to them having a lot of practice due to mass failure of samsung drives.
cant comment on rma of micron, kioxia, patriot or gigabyte since iv not had one of their drives fail yet.

Thanks for your reply. Despite my reluctance to buy another Samsung 870 EVO, I'm even more reluctant to buy from another manufacturer as they all seem to have recent issues with reliability and their RMA processes.

As you pointed out, Samsung should have plenty of recent practice with the RMA process, and I am already using Samsung Magician on all my other Samsung SSD's so I think I will stick with Samsung and buy them again.

One thing that I am considering doing different is, rather than buy a single 2TB SSD, I may get two 1TB SSD's in the hope that they won't both fail on the same day.

Sabrent drives seem to have a well deserved reputation for decent drives these days. If I don't feel confident with Samsung by the time I need a new drive, I'll more than likely end up buying a Sabrent which are just good, if not more reliable than Samsung these days.

I've never had to RMA a drive, but I have had a Samsung 840 EVO drop dead on me, well outside of it's warranty.

Honestly... EVERY brand has a chance of failing and warranties are only good if the companies actually do as they're supposed to (not always the case).

I've been lucky (touch wood etc) to not have an ssd fail on, actually I don't think I've had any drive fail on me apart from a really old 2.5inch hard drive which was a portable drive which basically got chucked about in a bag, so can't comment on rma etc.

I've had sata ssd's from crucial (mx500) and samsung (ev0 840 and 850) in my old rig, my current rig has nvme drives seagate 530's (2x 2tb - bought due to no reason other than being on offer) and sata ssd's by crucial (4x1tb and 2x2tb - bought purely due to being best value per tb)... all working happily (touch wood)...
Hard drives have been from western digital (blue internal, essentials external), seagate, maxtor (external) and hitachi (I'd argue the best out my hard drives) and I've always kept air flow over my drives and they seem to be happily working even to this day....some being 10+ years old.

Having said that if you go by puget's reviews etc they have switched to sabrent for their nvme because of the samsung issues....
