I was going to put you in, but it's not been a recent thing - I've thought you were very sound and often very funny for ages now.

The attention seeking alternaperson thing's just a front to try and e-pull naive scenester girls anyway. :D

Lashout_UK - super super sound guy, great taste in cars, I've learnt quite a lot from him and he helped me tons and tons when I still had my Dolomite. Great chap. I shall also be buying at least one t-shirt from him soon enough.

Probably *natasha* but only because her posting style was sooo different it was unreal. Shes stood out from the crowd.
 
So here's a list of people who aren't complete tools:

I notice I wasn't on your list, Sic. I won't hold it against you, though.

I have a few, would have to say Tesla and Fox, for both being great guys, and very generous to take me to+from the RR meet :)
I guess I should say all the people I met on the motors meets, everyone was really nice and helpful, top guys
Someone who I haven't met, but seems one of the most helpful guys around, is MickeyD, always willing to help people out, and seems to know absolutely everything on how to fix stuff

wow, thanks dude, I never get mentioned in any of these threads, other than by Sic but that's what I pay him for.

To be honest I only ever seem to recall giving you grief about music Arcade, so thanks for the thumbs up :).

As for me, I'm just gonna echo some names already mentioned: Sic, Penski, Mohinder, Carzy, Tolien (probably the bluntest forum member I've encountered but helped me out many a time with networking issues), some others who I can't think of at the mo...
 
I said earlier I wouldn't mention names but due to the amount of people creeping out of the woodwork and expressing their respect for me I now feel compelled to name a few of them. :)

Arcade Fire - Many reasons; his intellect, passion for physics and general nice 'blokeness'.

Balddog - Share his love of weight lifting/fitness and we tend to think alike of many subjects.

gord - For having the second best name on the forums. :p

Piggymon & Desmo - I group these two together for obvious reasons. A truly lovely couple whom I could never say a bad word about. They were very quick to offer their assistance and cheer me up when I was going through a rough patch recently.

Gilly - When I first joined the foums I really didn't know what to make of him. I guess it was his bluntness. It wasn't long however before I learned to appreciate him and his posting style. Once you are initiated in to the world of "Gillydom" you realise just what a sound bloke he is. ;)

Old Turkey - Although I disagree with him on a few key points I absolutely love the candidness and humour in his posting style.

dmpoole - Music... I need say no more.

All the sports forum regulars - PAz, BrenOS, Belmit, NitrogenY3K, Goatboy plus loads of others.

Wow... I just realised how tough it is to put down all the people who have made an impression on me recently, there are just too many to mention. Otacon and Lopez deserve to be in there as do KaHn, zain, Jenjey, Haly and Lostkat, Roberta and Muban... I really could go on and on. With a few exceptions you're all great. :)

No doubt I will miss people out, but I am trying to answer the question (ie people who I hadn't noticed at first, but have made an impression in the last year - so if you aren't on the list just assume you made an instant impact ;) )

Carzy - as others have mentioned is always willing to provide music info for anyone who'll listen, and his recommendations are (almost) invariably top notch. Though I think points need to be deducted for the sheer cost to me of buying all this (admittedly great) music :p

Jenjey - although I we had chatted before the last year, I am lucky to consider her a friend and is such a genuine person, and is bound to go far, so better to make friends now and call in favours later :D

I think I'd be blunt if I was almost single-handedly answering the bulk of the questions in N&IC, plus it is better to cut out the bull**** imo, so he gets my vote :)

cyKey, DRZ, JoeT, arandomname, rG-tom, mrk, all from the photo forums - been great chatting to them on MSN/IRC and on the forums.

gord caught my eye when it transpired he was going to the same uni as me, although as yet i have not managed to meet up with [read: kidnap] him.

Sic and Mohinder have provided an almost constant source of amusement in GD

I've likely forgotten a few names, but so does everyone :p

DAMMIT! I also forgot Huddy, who is an absolute 'diamand geezar' and is very generous.

And all the guys from the MM meet who helped me out when my car decided to kneel down.
 
Only person really this year is Piggy i used to think a few things about her that finally got sorted out. Now i know why people love her. She and Desmo make a fantastic couple and now i think shes great. :)
 
I could never mention everyone I've noticed and will definitely miss some out through forgetfulness. Recently, the people that post most regularly in the caption thread have caught my attention, namely cleanbluesky, Sic, fatiain, gord (unprecedented sig ownage over all of us), Bigstan, manor, Cybermyk, Mr_L, Pumpkinstew, Tru as always, and Otacon. There's loads more in there but I think these were the most prominent. Oh, and Otacon hasn't changed his posting style, he just has the trousers to go with the mouth now. :D

I always look out for Carzy, dmpoole and GordyR in the Music (and Box Office :p) forum and I've also noticed more of the Dons posts as well, especially Davey_Pitch since I've started frequenting the games forums (and also after I boasted about never having a post edited, which in retrospect was a rookie mistake - and you brought it up again, you don't learn do you? - Davey :p). Those I met at Alton Towers last year go without saying. :)

Seeing Gilly bring someone down a peg or twelve is always an amusing pleasure, and I'll have to mention Sic again for being the only person to add me to MSN last year and showing that he isn't the pumped keyboard warrior most people think he is, but is in fact a thoroughly nice chap! Also j00ni, who was similarly the only person to add me to his list of Last.fm friends, presumably because he saw how much Shed 7 I play and realised it made sense.

I'm off to go and scrub myself clean now. This thread is too nice.
