Who else orders too much pizza?

Whenever i order any takeaway i order far too much.

if it's a curry i get started, main, chips and nan and just explode after, literally :D
Chinese i will get main dish + chips, crackers + second dish for the next day
Pizza shops always have loads of deals on so usually get diff stuff and whack some in fridge again for next day.

Well it's not being tight really, it's just not getting robbed blind, I don't understand how anyone can pay the same price for junk food when they could go to a mid range restaurant for the same money.

Sometimes you don't want that and nothing hits the spot like a freshly delivered pizza. But £15+ per person for Dominos or Pizza Hut is just ridiculous, the guy who reckons he spends £30 on just him?! Amazing.

Usually fairly easy to get them at under a tenner each, especially if you have people to share with.

Absolutely, I agree, my local pizza joint does a crazy meat feast calzone, it's about £7 and will feed 2 people easily!

I detest these new over price chain joints.

If I was paying £30 plus then I would be looking to go to a restaurant rather than buying a takeaway!

I order pizzas too often, but rarely order too much in 1 order.

£7 gets me a 12" pizza and my gf a large kebab from my local. Every so often (when I find a decent discount code) we get dominos pizza instead, £15-20 for 2-3 large pizzas (kids get some too then lol).

15 quid for cheese on toast?! ripoff! :p

I like pizza but not a cheese and tomato one. that's just the base of a decent pizza. It's barely half a job.

Whenever I have ordered a takeaway, I just usually opt for the Chinese or indian because it's more food for less money. when you look at all the things (meat, mainly) that goes into the cheaper Chinese/indian, a pizza should cost less.

Share lol a large pizza is a mea(ish)l, shared it's a snack at best.

Large pizza (generally something spicy, so that's 15.99)
2 sides (chicken stripes & w/e I fancy)
1 garlic bread
1 coke
1 dessert

All adds up. That'll do me for an evening of feasting.

inb4fat.....I'm not fat. Nor have I ever been. I do too much to be fat. Fat is for lazy ****ers ;)

The idea is you get a BOGOF deal or something and have a large pizza each, obviously.

A large pizza is already what, 2500 calories? Just how much more stuff do you need, £25+ on one persons Dominos Pizza is just ridiculous.

But you can but a good pizza (delivered) for about £7.50, so your paying about 100% more than you need to.

good thing about the missus being a nurse, if we pick up from dominoes, and she shows them her staff card, our order is half price :D (excluding promos obviously)

There is always a promo though so its effectively the same as just getting buy one get one free if you have a pizza each :p

Some of us work for a living...sitting behind a desk burns nothing. I felled and logged 3 trees today, cleared a ditch and done some hay cutting.

Workers require food ;)

CM blah blah blah...learn to read you fool.

Other night I got a 10" Spicy pizza, chicken parmo, kebab meat, chips and salad for £11.50. Got to love those northern takeaway special offers! Ate it all as well, set me back on the straight and narrow after a week in Ibiza.

I made my own pizza tonight, Spinach and Ricotta. It tasted much better than dominos, didn't contain 4 million calories a slice and cost me around £5-6 to make.

£25 for pizza for one like some in this thread is madness!
