So which one is going to go first?

Chelsea boss or Liverpool boss?

obviously Roy is favorite but Carlo must be concerned.

After the comments he made in the press about aiming for 4th spot. Carlo is gone mate. Do you think Roman wants to hear guff like that from is manager.

The compensation would be ridic if they sacked Carlo... so, on that logic, Roy.

How long a contract is he on, and has Abramovich not learned yet and signed them up to easier to fire manager contracts? Wasn't for instance Benitez on a long contract but it was still designed so he only got one years compensation if he gets fired, rather than like 5 years worth, or something along those lines.

After several ridiculous high payouts for managers in recent years I think a lot of clubs are adding limits to compensation for being fired.

I really don't know who'd be out first, I don't know whose responsible at Chelsea, I said in the other thread, who bought Ramires, Abramovich, or Ancelloti, is it Ancelloti's fault the team is getting worse and he brought in a truly awful player or is that Roman's fault, if its Roman's fault, will he accept that or blame the manager, I really don't know and no one really knows whats going on behind the scenes there.

Houllier is doing badly but when you look at the starting 11 this season vs last, they've a LOT of injuries and you've got games with 4-5 youth players starting this season over established players last year. Any manager would be doing a lot worse than last year at Villa.

I really wouldn't be surprised to wake up tomorrow to news that Hodgson, Houllier and Ancelloti have gone.

Wenger should get the sack simply for persisting with that god awful coat of his

Carlo wont go yet - even with RA's notoriousness with his Managers in the past.

They have little experience within the club at that level (I believe this is the case anyway), and not that many managers available with the right profile (plus the compensation would be huge, which would only make the books look worse from the new rules coming in ....the main reason Chelsea havent been spending huge amounts recently)

There is a pretty decent gap below them - and Spurs losing tonight also helped Chelsea (ie they werent left a little further behind 4th spot)

Plus who would they go after who is suitable (who doesnt have a club, or not still in the CL awaiting knock out games)

tbh i would be shocked to see carlo gone 2moro such a good manager not his fault the chelsea team isn't getting any younger, abramovich has to get the checkbook out cos chelsea haven't bought a big player in a really long time last big player i can remember is anelka+malouda.

and for roy i think the only reason he hasn't been sacked yet is because they haven't found a replacement they are probably finding one right now so until they find the replacement then he will be sacked.

houllier is also walking on thin ice although they got 30million for millner and didn't invest in any of it instead they got 37 year old robert pires for free.
