Who has the highest average post count?

Excluding Gilly and the folks who have gained posts in charity auctions (Will Gill, Brynn and Bigstan from memory but there may be more) I think [TW]Fox will be next with the highest genuine postcount and therefore also PPD. :)

It has been said a few times now that Gillys post count is pretty much accurate. He has gained a lot of posts in auctions and whatever, but he has also had a lot taken away from him, so it balances out.

Sorry I didn't make that clear, maybe I needed an extra comma, I know Gilly's post count is more or less accurate but I was just trying to work out who would come next in terms of genuine posts as a point of interest for myself mainly because it isn't that much of a challenge to work out who comes first. For all I know Kell_ee001 is right because I do seem to vaguely recall Freefaller having gone back to 0 a few times. :)

Personally I think it's a shame we can't have stats for average words/characters per day (ignoring quotes, obviously).

I've seen plenty of people with 'high' postcounts who post a lot of throwaway comments in threads "LOL!" ":)" etc. But that doesn't mean to say they actually write as much as other people with lower averages.

edit: just checked my average. Used to be around 2-3 for a long time but then I started posting from work and it crept up to around 7-8 (meaning probably >10/day to boost the average). Been slacking a bit lately however due to not posting from my new workplace (on probation :o) and being busy outside work.

5.64 here. I had a stage around mid 2004 where I didn't visit the forums for about 6 months ( ). I have days where I'll post maybe 20 times then will go weeks without posting anything.

I think I enjoy reading more than anything else. I often have things to say but they've already been said.

Anything over 8 is hardcore really.

I am about 10+ something per day but I never post unless I can contribute something worthwhile, usually a 300 word+ reply in hardware.

Spamming and contributing are two completely different things, I am looking at you Zefan. ;)

Should rename the title, who has too much time on there hands, and no life.
No offence intended. :)

Damn i just wasted my 1post per day, i only have 0.7 of a post left :D

If anything, Gilly's PPD (posts per day) is probably slightly low due to posting in no-PC zones (the SE used to be one of those, not sure about the DR).

Mine's well lower than it should be due to donating something around 13,000 to charity.
