Can we have insurance company names also..some of those quotes are amazing!
And will only give similarly amazing quotes to people who live in the same place, drive the same car, and have the same driving record and date of birth.

Yep means FA tbh, depends how many miles you do etc.

Mine is £504 for a 53 Clio, 23, 1year ncd, 1 crash, 12k, fully comp, business usage.

The KA is going to cost us £97 fully comp this year with direct line.
Following on from another thread, i can pretty much insure any car Direct line offer insurance for online (they wont offer quotes for Focus ST, Imprezza turbo, evos etc) for under £450 fully comp with no no claims discount, for isntance a brand new 530i sport would cost me £434.

Hows, age etc?

I've just renewed mine - £830 for a Mondeo ST TDCi - Group 13, , 25, 3yrs NCB, No Points or Claims, 20k a year + Business Use, £250 excess. I thought that was a touch on the dear side but I had a real good shop around and most places wanted over a grand.

£405 FC for my MX5 living in London.

£398 FC for my YZF600R living in London.

I know there are some people on here with REALLY low insurance :( Maybe I should move to cornwall or something...

£395 FC BMW 728i (Gp 17) Its 7 years old, and I'm a professional driver which reduced the quote by £300 once I'd shopped around.

I used to pay £3850

I now pay $120

surely i must win!

Pah, that's in funny money, besides I still beat you, even with todays exchange rates.

My GT6, my main car for the last 6 months or so, with fully comp, unlimited mileage and breakdown cover costs me a whopping £35 a year to insure:D

OK, that is on my classic insurance and was tagged on to my existing Stag policy (I actually only paid £26 to insure the GT as the Stag policy had already been running for three months), but both of them costs me less than £200 a year for unilimited mileage, fully comp and breakdown

And I don't even have to pay tax on one of them :D

Some peoples insurance in here is very cheap. You would all get a huge shock if you came to Northern Ireland.

Dad just paid £356 to insure his Daihatsu Terios 1.3+ and that's with full no claims bonus, driving for 19 years with no points or confictions and he's 49. For those of you who are 20/21 count your selves very lucky. My brother who's 21 with 2yrs no claims and no points has also just paid £750 to insure a group 2 Hyundai Atoz 1.0ltr TPF&T. He is gutted but as that's £1k cheaper than last year he can't really complain.

I assume thats due to cars going "woof"* on the Falls road on a regular basis? or have things really changed over there?

* Based on corny gag, "How do you make a cat bark?" - "douse it in petrol & ignite it" :o

£300 for my 205. £600 last year - only 1 year into my experience, not bad going :)

iirc according to the spreadsheet that used to be a sticky on here, northern ireland was the most severe area for pricing.

Hehe over here i can insure a BMW 728i for that much, aged 20 with 1NCB. Still a rip off but i think i would break down in tears if i ever had to contemplate NI insurance prices.

Cars aren't set alight as much as they used to be yet insurance premiums are still rocketing. Even when your car is kept in the garage insurance is still the same. Compared to the rest of the Uk car theft and accidents aren't all that bad over here IMO and why many insurance companies have pulled out of NI is beyond me because at these prices money's bound to be made.
