Is there anyone else like me, that could probably count on one hand the number of games you have actually completed, seen to the end, right up to where the credits roll?

It seems only a few games really grab my attention enough to stick with a game until the end.

Amongst others, two that stand out for me are Dead Space 1 and 2. I was glued to these games.

I seem to get bored of games pretty quickly and just move onto the next new game.

I hardly ever complete games, the ones I want are always out at the same time, I spread my time between them and by the time I'm halfway through a new load come out.

I certainly don't complete as many as I used to - although I play a lot of open games that can't really be completed. Oh, and a lot of time deciding which to play :p

I pretty much only play online these days.

Not many single player games appeal to me, many have sandbox gameplay which isn't my favourite.

I like games like final fantasy, adventure platformers like tomb raider, and anything with a great story. Something like metal gear solid I love.

FPS games I will always complete, and strategy.

RPGs, despite being my fave genre I can't. Whenever I make a decision about my character I dont like later on, I go all OCD and start from scratch.

hardly any these days, got fed up with Skyrim, lost interest in Batman AC after the windows live lost savegame debacle & couldn't face playing halfway through again to get back to where I was up to. Currently playing Sniper EliteV2 & I am confident I'll actually finish it as it's excellent so far..

I've completed about 85% of my PC games the only ones I aint completed are

Aquaria
Amnesia
Borderlands [just the DLC not completeed, probably will eventually though]
Gish
Pnemumbra
Psychonauts
STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl
Samorost 2
Shadowgrounds and Survivor
Titan quest immortal throne [put quite a bit of hours into it aswell]
Trine
World of Goo

Most games either don't hold my interest for long cause I end up bored or I end up playing something better

I hardly complete any of my games I've completed like 13 out of 212 on steam. Should probably get around to finishing more :p

It really depends on the game in question but if I'm not having fun then I won't just finish a game for the sake of it.

Only game I've completed recently was Max Payne 3. I mostly play BF3 these days.

I have yet to complete:

AC2
GTA4 + Episodes
Alan Wake
COD BLOPS
MOH
Dead Island
Dirt 2
Dirt 3
AVP
Skyrim

Plus a load of others....

in the same boat...

mixture of getting older, less time and there being so many games - and games not really doing anything that I havn't seen before.

I usually complete the games I play, though I think it's a little less than it used to be, though not by much. The reasons are most likely that with more choice than ever before, and due to such ludicrously cheap games sales there seems to be more incentive, and more chance of accumulating an ever increasing stack of 'worth a punt' titles. In recent times I've started dipping into other genres more frequently, such as rpg's. I like some of them enough to consider a purchase, but hesitate sometimes when they are even on sale; I don't very often find titles that I want to complete in this category. However, I still like to concentrate on fps and fps/rpg's / fpp/rpg's, though some 'taster' sessions of other types of games are very welcome and help to broaden my horizons. Kingdom of Amalur for example; I quite enjoyed the demo and can see me picking it up eventually, but in the past games like this wouldn't have held my attention for long at all.

I complete pretty much every game that I play, unless I lose interest in the story. I play pretty much exclusively SP games atm and there are not many games I have started, not to complete. The only two that come to mind are Borderlands, which I didn't really get in to, and RAGE, which was awful.

actually, now that I think of it, I didn't complete Dead Island, despite really enjoying it. I was playing with a few mates and we got close to the end I think, but one of them moved house and was without the Internet for a few weeks and we never got back to it.
