I'm looking at a purchase from them and the much lower starting price and the 5% off for bank transfer is looking attractive, but should I be weary??

Anyone had experience, good or bad??
 
Tempted to "test them" when I get a D800, although they are out of stock atm. The 5% discount on bank transfer would knock their price below £2k :O
 
Used them earlier in the year. 5D3 with 24-105L lens for £2505 via bank transfer, fantastic price & service. Also if an item says out of stock email them, 5D3 was listed as out of stock for ages, could still be the same but I got mine in 3 days from HK to UK. I'd use them again in a heartbeat with bank transfer, I was that pleased with them.

I'm looking to get a 70-200 2.8II, and maybe a 7D from them. Can't justify a 5D3 yet and my 450D is getting a little problematic for me (buffer too small, fps is non existant and ISO performance is dire at 400 and above so it limiting) so the 7D would help a little until I can afford a 5D3.

Well, I didn't get the 135 as I've never really used that focal length. That being said, I use the 100mm on crop so I might one day.

I've emailed ******* for the bank transfer option, thus saving me enough to have some cash for a flash. I'm getting the Canon grip (yes I've gone for a canon one) from digital rev. Had order confirmation from them, just waiting for ******* to get back to me now.

Good job I'm sitting down, I feel dizzy :D £4,369.00 before 5% discount. That's 5dmk3, 32gb card, remote, 85L & 35L :)

Oh, and a lenspen & extra battery :D

Actually, I wonder what dropped in price over night. The figure I mentioned earlier was the cost at 11pm last night :D

Also bought from them with no issues :) Spent about £1200 with them so far with no hassle.
 
Well I decided to bite the bullet last night, and I filled out the form for ordering stuff with 5% discount (who wouldn't).

However, I've not heard anything back.... I'm would have thought that they were based in Asia so they would have responded over night, or do they pick up emails in the UK?
 
They have people in the UK too and I think they are the ones that deal with the customer emails (just the impression I got).

Normally you fill out an email or form describing what you want and they send you the invoice. I personally then email them again to confirm I have paid them and the stuff is normally shipped within 24hrs of that happening.
 
I will be ordering a few £k of bits from them on the 25th.

Out of interest if any of you were to start over again, would you purchase the 5D3 or D800?

I'm mulling over this choice - it's proving tough.
 
Email received and payment made - I'm hoping they process it and get it out to me today, then I stand a chance of getting it before the weekend :D
