*******, who here has bought from them?

Whats *******'s warranty situation like out of interest? If something is faulty, does it get sent to a UK address or shipped abroad back to HK?

I think you send it to their UK agent. They will then ship it to Canon Hong Kong probably. Unless they can do some magic trick with a valid UK receipt...if they could then you can just send it to Canon!

Hmmmmm. I'm still not decided on the benefit of saving a few hundred quid compared to the piece of mind knowing I'd have a 2 year warranty with nikon UK instead. Hell I'm not even sure what camera I should buy yet -.-

Lens wise the warranty is a 1 year collect and return. They collect the faulty lens and you get a brand new one in replacement. They say that they don't like sending out refurbs and repairs usually end up repeating the same fault later so don't like that either.

Do Nikon UK honour the warranty and service grey import SLRs? I know they don't for compacts and lenses. Only thing putting me off ordering from this lot.

Nope, which is what puts me off also. Sadly the price difference though especially on the E is the amount of one of the lenses I want, so its a matter of do I risk it or not :(

UK agent, their agent ship it back to the country it was purchased from, when it is fixed then back to their agent in Hong Kong, and back to UK agent or direct to you.

That might be normally but lens currently have the extra warranty free, and their faq states about the brand new replacement.
