Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Great listing and awesome example. 'Needs' some eibach sportlines and different wheels though :p

Where in herts are you from? I'm from Hatfield.

Thanks, I have the front brakes & pads (OEM) also included which I don't think I've put on there. Nevermind. I was going to do all sorts of it but am kinda glad I didn't as it would just be more 'loss' financially and mean that I end up with less change from my replacement/upgrade.

Rickmansworth so not too far. Maccy's over in Watford. I sense a mini meet when I have my replacement. Or perhaps I'll show you what real speed is....:p

If you think that cars are 'fast' you are severely mistaken.

Took me 40 mins to get my F1 badge on :(

It wouldn't come off the decal! Even after using a hairdryer for 20 mins. Found out the best way to do it was push down on it with excessive force and then pull it off. Worked eventually :\

Bullets should be here by next monday hopefully. Pics to follow of course

I was looking through the for sale section earlier and someone was selling two standard Clio 200 alloys for £40, couldn't believe my eyes! Funnily enough the thread has now been deleted! :p

I think they're better than the standard 182 wheels tbh, only when clean though (which mine are most of the time, got the car cleaning bug) but still it is a little annoying Renault didn't bother giving the standard mk2 172 it's own alloy design :s instead they took the non-sport design and made them 16". I'd love my car but with the exterior of the 172 Cup :(

I keep looking out for some good condition Turinis but they are either too far from me or damaged, they transform the car completely. I can't do anything to my car due to my insurance though, but thankfully it's due for renewal at the end of this month so I will hopefully be able to change to someone who will allow me to modify my car (I say thankfully, I've got the lube ready for the prices) :p

Adrian Flux are great with MODS, my Miltek was an extra £20.

BennyC is selling his as some you are aware. It's priced well and has all of the mods that I would do so seems silly not to take it. Plus I've helped him work on the car so I know it fairly well etc. I think yellow calipers would look good too :)

Looking forward to burning you at the lights;)

If i had a 172, those stock wheels would be off by day 2 :p

The 172 wheels. They're putrid imo :)

I hate the 172 wheels.

Partly because they just look rubbish, and partly because they aren't exclusive to the model, unlike every other RS Clio. They are just bigger versions of the Dynamique wheels.

Trouble is, selling them is a PITA and I cant afford to just buy a new set.

I think they suit the 172 really well. Silver is by far the only colour that suits them mind, but they have to be kept clean.

Seeing how cheap the 172's have got, I have been messing with a few insurance quotes but bit confused as to why they vary so much for me. Some are coming in at around the £1k mark which I was expecting (21, 1yrs NCB, 6k per year, reasonable postcode), and others are coming in as the same as what i'm paying for my 1.6 focus at the moment; £550.

The ones that come at the £1k mark are ones such as the following:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2953938.htm
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2891159.htm

And ones that appear reasonable to insure are the following:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2927934.htm
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2982357.htm
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2847390.htm

The only thing I'm changing on the quotes is the reg plates. Am i missing something here?

They are all up to what I expected; ~£1000 mark. I'm guessing I wouldn't be properly covered if I intentionally bought one of the clios that gave me a low quote as their system isn't picking them up as the correct car?
