I don't think most people would admit this, but then again its the internet - the place where riots and bigotry have only harmless counterparts to real life...

So who here thinks they have had a past life?

I think I may have, and I wonder if the occaisional feelings of Dejavu and motivations I cant explain are remnants of that...

The only past life I might have had is what ever the componets of me are from.

Eg if I there was a cow then my parents ate the cow my past life was a cow.

edit: I just realised what this was about :o And I have no idea what I would be. But just dying is a pretty lame way to end your life, I am hoping there's a kind of heaven or whatever.

dude ive recently been questioning the whole reincarnation thing myself. theres too many things i cant explain :(

i read an article somewhere about a girl who claimed she was someone else and how she lived with x people in x area and i think after a bit of research it turned out these people existed... really wish i had saved it grrr.

with that and things i cant remember remembering when i was a child im confused.

my guess is if im even vaguely right i used to be from the far east.

im on msn if u wanna have a more indepth chat about it.

I had a past life once, I was God. Or was that this life, they tend to blur after a while.

I'm sure I read de ja vu was something to do with a signal being delayed at one of your synapses so part of the message reaches your brain then a split second later the full thing gets there.
That said, it could have been in the book 'Catch 22' so who knows.

Meh - I'd like to believe that there's more to life than meets the eye.
Energy has to go somewhere so I suppose the idea of a soul or body of energy passing from one life form to another isn't that much of a leap.
Hardly going to devote my life to that way of thinking though - if I die and there is something else I'll be all for it.
Not going to live my life with the expectation that it will reflect on me for eternity - that'd be hellaboring.

Transformers?

The "Human Being" that we all know and love is, based on cell count, only between 5% and 15% human, that is cells containing human DNA.

The rest is comprised of microbial life which co-exists in every living creature.

Following this, one could argue that we are all part of a single distributed organism which spans the globe and that we all live and die as one single being, the collective consciousness lives on and that we are simultaneously ourselves and everyone(thing) else.

That's Eastern philosophy, together with karma, if you do something bad to someone, something bad will happen to you so as to equalise the bad things happening.
