Who here thinks they have had a past life?

Are you on the rag.

Are you asking if I am on my period

Without anyone telling me anything i think its total crap.
It's strange how all these reincarnated people are x kings and queens or presidents etc.
You don't get many people claiming they were scum bag peasants in a previous life. More like Ann Boleyn :p
Re incarnation for me is in the book with a Flat earth and moon landing conspiracys. Completely laughable and anyone who entertains such ridiculous notions cannot be taken seriously.

Humans these days are wrapped up in there own self importance. You live you die you rot you fertilise the ground.
Get over it.

Yeah, anyone that claims that is most likely full of **** - that doesn't mean that reincarnation doesn't happen.

If someone wants to think that they were a king in a previous life then so be it, but I haven't suggested that I think that people even know who they were in previous incarnations - Buddhists believe in reincarnation but they dont all walk around telling each other they were kings in previous lives. Many of them believe that they could have been slugs and toads and butterflys though.

Cards on the table then CBS you say in your O.P you think you may.
Clarify for me then are you saying you think you have been re incarnated. Yes or No.

A: So you don't believe in it, does that automatically mean that your viewpoint is right? No. So then drop the veiled insults unless you are willing to insult all beliefs.

If you insulted a Muslims belief in Mohhamed they wouldn't be shy of telling you what they think of you. So please don't insult mine.

B: Wrong. Only shallow ego-centric humans are wrapped up in their own importance. A lot of the people who believe in reincarnaction especially Buddhists are far from wrapped up in their self importance. Most of the Pagans that I know are more considerate of others.

Those that have a inflated self worth are the material, must have all the possestions, media obsesed types.

In your first sentance you stated the answer to the second sentence, the cards were on the table before you asked for them to be put there.

I don't think I'm the King of Spain though...

With how much thought you've given this matter, would you now be prepared to consider the alternative hypothesis? That there is a non-physical component to life. And test the two hypotheses alongside each other - If you're going to look at it scientifically you may as well use scientific method! ;)

Having a scientific mind, I am more inclined to accept that there is not a non-physical component. The most obvious example to take is the use of drugs, such as a hallucinogenic drug. That is a physical compound effecting the mental being that is 'me'. To take it further, I can then conclude that the mental being of 'me' is affected by physical substances (chemicals) and can infer that the mental being I call 'me' both exists because of and is controlled entirely by physical processes. :)
