Who is 4k ready?

Yeah, there seems to be a distinct gap in monitor and gpu specs. Even 144hz 1440p monitors seem a little far fetched to me. There can't be many rigs, if any, that can maintain that across the board.

my 290x's could get around that on bf4 all settings pushed

Was tempted with 4K but yeah, seems kinda pointless at the moment. Probably the gen after next on the graphics cards will see us start moving over. If titan X sli'd is about the power level needed to start making it worthwhile then we'll probably see next gen get decent, the one after it will start to be more normal for the folks who'd buy a £600 card now.
