Who is going to get a Pascal Titan X ?

Unless priced very keenly (or they massively bulk up specs before launch which isn't likely) no - nVidia is just taking the mick. If nVidia had tried to charge this amount of money for a theoretical 2GB GTX470 back then they'd have never heard the last of it which is basically the equivalent of what they are doing here.
 
Currently my month old 1080 is far too much for my needs with a 1440p monitor so I'm happy to stick with my soon to be mid range card ;)
 
I was certainly waiting for Big Pascal, and I still am. I don't think this is the full chip we'll be getting.

Honestly not a fan of them constantly upping the price. Will see if Big Vega actually brings some decent competition.
