You know when someone tells you about this really good joke that they heard, so much so they wet themselves with laughter, which makes you eager to hear it... Then it turns out to be good, but not quite wet-your-pants funny... In-turn it makes the joke seem worse than it probably was because it was overhyped.

I got bored quick because I thought it'd be as good as the hyping made it out to be (I did watch the trailers and whatnot, was excited.. meh). As I said, I'll get back into it once set up again because it's good, but it's not quite Carl... joking, I'm not making that reference. Plus Carling is minging too ha.

Ordered through simply games how can I login to my account to check the status? I sign in then takes me to the home page again with no where to review 'my orders'

looks really good, they did a bang up job of making it "next gen" it seems. however already finished the game on PS3 so not going to double dip just to see grass

tbh I prefer 3rd person for this type of game. I use first person for shooters like CS or cockpit view for driving games like gran turismo

Fair enough, I think everybody is curious and excited to see what it will play like tbh, some will like it, some wont. I personally cant wait to try it out, looks fun, gives the game a whole new element of fun gameplay.

agreed. but I have played the game and finished the single player, side missions etc... 100% so this is not a reason to spend another £40 for a game I already played. this will only encourage more bad practices by the games industry, they don't need anymore help. if you never got GTA5 when it came out the PS4 version is the one to get, same with Last of Us. ppl complain about sequels/rehashing same stuff year after year, but this "remastering" really takes it to another level. I'd rather see them put their resources on making GTA6

They're big enough to work on two projects. GTA VI has in all likelihood been in development for a while already.

they aren't that big. and it teakes a lot more ppl than you think to make a PS4 version. (coding, textures, QA etc...) if those ppl were used for GTA6, the game would be finished quicker

With the PS4 especially, the developers can work quicker and put games out a lot faster now. Instead of waiting 5 years, they could potentially make a game in 2-3 years. Last gen was hard to develop for, the PS4 was specifically designed to be made for the developers. Basically a developers dream come true.

You can't say that definitively though, bringing GTA5 to the new consoles means they're gaining experience of working with the hardware rather than having to start from scratch on a new title.

In any case, look at how long GTA5 took; GTA6 is a long way away regardless.

I think it will be a while before we see another GTA, Rockstar have had a history of developing other titles with new technologies to test. i.e. they released that ping pong game on the 360, for the life of me I cannot recall what it was but most certainly part of the engine for that game was used in GTA4.

havent played this on last gen so im stupidly excited to the release on PS4 next week, no way on earth i could hold out for the PC release

My plan was to get to level 100 in the new WOW expansion before tuesday then have a GTA session

Having an active interest in programming and game development I'm more than aware. You cannot say for sure it would be finished quicker any way, a lot of this stuff is contracted out externally or they have contracted people in thus will make no difference.

I put so many hours into GTA V on 360. Had no intention of getting this but as soon as I saw one of those comparison screenshots showing the new graphics and vastly increased traffic and ped count I decided that buying this is a must on PS4. Be interesting to know if SharePlay works?
