Who is the biggest flop?

Torres got an assist according to BBC for the Mata goal.

Yes he did, his linkup play is definitely improved since going to chelsea although his touch sucks.

Today though he made some good runs and mata in particular refused to give him the ball, pretty much no point playing him if no one will pass to him, first time ive seen him live, made sure to watcg him a lot

Tough choice but I'd say Torres:

-Has had more opportunities (107 apps vs 70 including loan) in a better team
-Cost more
-Bigger reputation i.e. more expected of him - Andy Carroll not featuring at the top of the scoring charts is not a flop to the same degree as it is for Torres. Andy Carroll has NEVER scored 20 goals in a single season (in all competitions!), in fact if you take his time in the lower leagues out of the equation his best return is 11 goals in all competitions which you'd be hoping for from a £3.5m striker not a £35m one.

Longer term it is hard to say, you'd imagine that if (and right now it is looking like a big IF) Torres could recapture his old form he could start to come good, whereas Carroll will always be a flop even if he lives up to his potential.

So in summation: Torres is the bigger flop but Carroll was the least forgivable transfer.

Andy Carroll, as liverpool fan he was a flop for us. torres showed in the prem for few seasons. torres lost confident thats all and is time for torres to look for another club. chelsea can sell torres to liverpool for half price.
