Who is the biggest flop?

Didn't you cry about people saying Giroud was a good signing, because a load of his goals have come against less than stellar teams..? ;)

What's that got to do with Rooney? Oh absolutely nothing, Moses fails yet again :o

The FA must have rejected that 1 match loan request so Rooney could line up for Liverpool against City yesterday, sorry about that..

Rooney is nowhere near the player he was,

the last 2 seasons hes gone backwards imo if he'd carried on progressing the likes of barca and madrid would have been after him.

theres no way he'd get in either of those teams now

as for koscielny ive never said hes better than kompany!

Why would he go to them anyways?

Children to bring up here, is playing for the best team in the country and is getting paid a ridiculous amount.

Also why the hell is Rooney being mentioned in this thread 0.o???

So 27 goals in 34 league games is backwards ...

I have to assume you're joking. Otherwise, just... :o

Carroll - 35m, one loan, no trophies

Torres - 50m, no loans, Champions League

I rest my case.

Torres has also scored in a world cup final...

Perhaps he is a bit of a flop, but he had it to lose.

Carroll to be fair is still developing, he has nothing to lose and I'm happy when he's in an England shirt.

Biggest flop? You have to say Torres imo.

Torres spent most of the time sat on the bench during their Champions League run, it still bugs me that they show his runaway goal against Barcelona so much when really it was Ramirez' excellent goal (and heroic defending) which knocked Barcelona out.

I guess we'll see who was the biggest flop when they both get sold on and see how much clubs are willing to pay for them, Torres can't seem to hit a barn door at least Carroll has a few excuses (injury, unsettled).

Torres.

He was awful for the last 18 months whilst at Liverpool and was never a £50m player when Chelsea bought him. Then you have to factor in how much he's being paid to be ****.

Torres never scored in a world cup final, he scored in the European cup final and that was when he was at Liverpool, we are talking about Torres since his 50 million move to Chelsea.
