it's a way of validating, what they do, really, they are just good looking girls who want paying for looking good in front of a camera, so they do asmr while doing that, though tbf, sharonqueen does take the asmr side of it seriously

but, without being a little faacetious
asmr, is where certain sounds make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, or make you feel nice, it's like the opposite of someone scraping a blackboard with your nails, there are people who stream themselves making these sounds that make you feel a bit funny

I get it but only when having my haircut in person, nothing else including videos triggers it.

I think you might be talking about a different kind of site other than twitch here, though I have experienced what you are talking about
you need to be a twitch affiliate, or a partner to be able to show ads on a live twitch stream and it is only really gamers who will get affiliated, there's no way asm
