There was indeed a non-turbo RX-7, just over 200hp IIRC, which would explain its 15 second time. I don't know if they were sold in the UK but JApan definately had them.

15s is terrible and he was driving it like a granny. Book 1/4 mile is ~13.8 IIRC for a standard FD.

I stand corrected. Somehow I remember having an RX7 FD with a non turbo in Gran Turismo 2. I dug out the damn Playstation and turned it on to find it was indeed a 2nd gen.
Bloody amazing Micra though, what engine is that they've shoehorned in there? Love the bouncing off the limiter in 1st and second, talk about traction issues!
