Who sold up this year?

Not this year but I've hardly used my street triple. Just don't have the time with work and a young family I end up just using it for work here and there. Think it's going to go next spring and I'll be bike less for a few years.

Can understand but that shouldn't put anyone off from their joy. You may take some time off from riding but giving up probably shouldn't be the way.
Riding off-road has its own risks.

There are worse car accidents too but that doesn't stop us from driving. Just my thoughts.

Yeh I hear you, I just think she's been looking to give up for a while now and this has shaken her up.

I said to her the same thing, about car accidents etc. and I've lost 3 close friends due to bike accidents over the past 30 years. It didn't stop me biking, gave me a wake up call and to respect the hobby/the dangers.

I've had a few blips over the years about bikes, but this one seems a bit more set in. I've done everthing I wanted to do on a bike.. track days, tours/trips, track experiences, off roading, wheelie schools etc.

I'll most probably go down the route of buying an old bike and restoring it, I'm over 50 now and my nostalgia period was the 80s two stroke scene. But that'll be for another time.

not sold up, but i have considered giving up road riding in favour for the track. yet to make the jump but the road does not give me enjoyment and im also constantly worried about bike theft as that seems to be really high across the uk right now.
